The new look was revealed after Haaland removed a cap during the warm-up and quickly spread across social media.
City won the match 2-1, though Haaland missed several scoring opportunities. Former teammate Zlatan Ibrahimović posted a video on Haaland’s YouTube channel joking that the haircut might be the result of a lost bet and asking, "You gonna be faster now, or what?" Former City manager Pep Guardiola also commented, "You’re lucky to have hair. I would love to have it!"
