Apple's iPhone 18 Pro Event Expected in Early September with Pre-Orders Starting Sept. 12

Resumen

Apple is slated to announce the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max at a special event on September 9, with pre-orders opening on September 12, according to recent reporting.

Apple is anticipated to unveil its iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max at a special event on Wednesday, Sept. 9, after an invitation likely sent out on Aug. 25 or Aug. 26. The company traditionally announces the event two weeks in advance, and analysts note that the timing aligns with Apple’s recent pattern of Tuesday announcements, though a Wednesday keynote is considered probable because Labor Day falls on Sept. 7.

"Apple has announced its annual iPhone event two weeks in advance for four consecutive years," said Zac Hall of 9to5Mac.

"The last time the holiday was on that day was in 2020, but the iPhone event that year was delayed until October due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The last time Labor Day was on Sept. 7 in a normal year was in 2015, and the iPhone event was held on Wednesday, Sept. 9 that year," reported MacRumors.

If the schedule holds, pre-orders for the new devices are expected to begin on Saturday, Sept. 12, a day later than the usual Friday opening to avoid the anniversary of the original iPhone launch. The base iPhone 18 model is not projected to arrive until spring 2027, while new Apple Watch models are also expected to be announced alongside the phones.
