Apple Watch Ultra 4 rumored to feature slimmer titanium case, Touch ID and upgraded health sensors
Leaks suggest the next Apple Watch Ultra will have a thinner titanium chassis, integrated Touch ID, an eight-sensor health array and a brighter, more efficient display.
Leaks indicate that Apple’s upcoming Watch Ultra 4 will retain its rugged titanium case and sapphire crystal while adopting a slimmer profile for improved comfort during extended wear. The redesign is said to include a new sensor suite that could house up to eight health-monitoring components, expanding capabilities such as hypertension alerts, ECG, wrist temperature measurement and advanced sleep tracking.
The device may also incorporate Touch ID, possibly in the side or action button, to streamline unlocking, payment authorisation and access to health data. An always-on Retina display with LTPO3 technology is rumored to reach up to 3,000 nits, and battery life could exceed the previous model’s 42-hour standard and 72-hour low-power modes thanks to chip-level efficiency gains.
Running on WatchOS 27, the Ultra 4 is expected to introduce AI-driven health features that provide personalised recommendations and more precise metric analysis. Charging performance is projected to remain fast and reliable, matching the prior generation. While non-invasive blood-glucose monitoring is not anticipated, the reported upgrades aim to strengthen Apple’s position in the wearable market.
