Netflix releases trailer for Alix Earle's reality series amid hints of feud with Alex Cooper

Netflix unveiled the first trailer for "Earl Meets World," the reality series starring social-media influencer Alix Earle. The preview features typical reality-TV moments, including Earle shouting about being "naked in Times Square" and scenes that highlight her blended family, which includes her father TJ Earle, his former partner Ashley Dupré, and their five children. The program also touches on personal challenges, such as Earle's recent breakup and her mother's cancer diagnosis that occurred while Earle competed on "Dancing With the Stars."

The trailer does not name Alex Cooper, host of the "Call Her Daddy" podcast, but Earle references a conflict with an unnamed woman in a confessional segment, saying, "She’s trying to paint it as I’m just this crazy lunatic that’s hating her for no reason," and adds that "there’s a reason." The series' promotional materials have highlighted this dispute, suggesting it will be a central storyline.

"She’s trying to paint it as I’m just this crazy lunatic that’s hating her for no reason," Earle said in a confessional.

Industry observers note that Netflix appears to be emphasizing the alleged feud to attract viewers.
