Chicago Sky forward Sophie Cunningham hit three three-pointers in the Fever's 101-95 victory in Toronto, responding to consistent booing from the crowd.

Chicago Sky forward Sophie Cunningham faced repeated boos from the Toronto crowd during Tuesday night’s WNBA game against the Minnesota Lynx. Despite the hostile reaction, she made three successful three-point attempts, contributing to the Fever’s 101-95 win.

After the game, Cunningham addressed the audience, saying, "I want to shout out the Tempo crowd and the city. We've had so much fun. The crowd was absolutely amazing. I think that’s what sports is all about. You’re going to get boos and you’re going to get cheers."

She also commented on the team's performance, noting, "The Big Three are going to do their thing every night. Like I said, I'm just gonna come, have some fun, maybe inspire some young girls to come beat me one day."

Cunningham’s remarks earlier in the season about protecting young girls in locker rooms had drawn criticism, which she said was the likely cause of the boos. The Lynx’s coach had previously worn a "Trans Kids Belong" shirt during a game against the Fever.
