Tom Holland set to earn over $100 million from Spider-Man: Brand New Day
Tom Holland's compensation for the latest Spider-Man film is reported to exceed $100 million, including a $20 million base salary and uncapped backend bonuses.
Tom Holland is expected to receive more than $100 million for his role in the Sony and Marvel Studios release "Spider-Man: Brand New Day," according to sources familiar with the contract. The actor’s base salary is reported to be at least $20 million, roughly $10 million higher than his pay for the 2021 film "Spider-Man: No Way Home," with additional backend bonuses that have no stated cap.
The film, directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, opened on July 31 and has entered its third week of theatrical run. It posted a $360 million domestic opening and a $932 million worldwide total, reaching the $1 billion mark within six days. The movie has now surpassed $2 billion globally, making it the second-fastest release to achieve that milestone.
Industry sources said Holland will earn at least $100 million after all bonuses are accounted for. Representatives for Sony Pictures and Holland have not responded to requests for comment.
