Google to Unveil Pixel 10 Series with Advanced AI Features

Google is preparing to launch its Pixel 10 series on August 20, 2025, at the 'Made by Google' event in New York City. The lineup includes the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and the foldable Pixel 10 Pro Fold.

The Pixel 10 Pro and Pro XL are expected to feature 6.3-inch and 6.8-inch displays, respectively, both powered by Google's new Tensor G5 chipset, fabricated using TSMC's 3nm process for improved performance and efficiency. These models may offer up to 1TB of storage and 16GB of RAM.

Camera hardware is anticipated to remain consistent with previous models, featuring a 50MP main sensor, 48MP ultrawide lens, and 48MP telephoto lens. However, new AI-powered features like 'Camera Coach' are expected to enhance user photography experiences.

The Pixel 10 Pro Fold is rumored to include an 8-inch internal OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 6.4-inch external OLED screen. It is expected to be equipped with the Tensor G5 processor, 16GB of RAM, and storage options up to 1TB. The device may also feature a 48MP main camera, 10.5MP ultrawide lens, and 10.8MP telephoto lens with 10x optical zoom.

Battery capacities are projected to increase slightly, with the Pixel 10 Pro featuring a 4,870mAh battery and the Pro XL a 5,200mAh battery. Charging improvements may include faster wired charging up to 39W for the Pro XL and support for Qi2 wireless charging.

Google has released teasers highlighting advanced AI photo editing capabilities, such as adding people to photos post-capture and improved zoom features. The event will also feature appearances by celebrities including Jimmy Fallon, Stephen Curry, Lando Norris, and the Jonas Brothers.

The Pixel 10 series is expected to ship with Android 16, introducing Google's 'Material 3 Expressive' design for enhanced personalization.

Pricing details are anticipated to remain stable, with the Pixel 10 Pro XL starting at $1,199 for the 256GB model.
