Google Pixel 11 Pro XL benchmarks show up to 20% gain over predecessor

Summary

Early Geekbench results for the Pixel 11 Pro XL indicate a performance increase of up to 20% compared with the Pixel 10 Pro XL, though the device still trails Samsung's Galaxy S26 Ultra and top-tier Snapdragon and Apple chips.

Google has begun shipping pre-orders for its Pixel 11 series, with the flagship Pixel 11 Pro XL slated for release on August 20. Early benchmark data posted to Geekbench show the new model delivering roughly a 20% performance boost over the Pixel 10 Pro XL, according to two test results. The improvement is attributed to the upgraded Tensor G6 processor and the addition of a Titan M3 security co-processor, which are shared across the Pro and non-XL Pro variants.

"The Pixel 11 Pro XL shows a 20% uplift compared with the Pixel 10 Pro XL in Geekbench scores," the benchmark data indicates.

Despite the gains, the Pixel 11 Pro XL lags behind Samsung's Galaxy S26 Ultra, which scored 3,082 (single-core) and 10,381 (multi-core) on the same test, representing a 34% and 46% advantage, respectively. Analysts note that the Pixel's performance remains below the highest-end Snapdragon chips and Apple's latest A19 Pro processor found in the iPhone 17 Pro series.

The early figures provide a snapshot of the device's launch-day performance, but comprehensive evaluations of battery life, durability and real-world usage are still pending.
