Trump aide Natalie Harp identified among staff who transferred from Air Force One in Turkey
Executive assistant Natalie Harp was one of three aides who accompanied President Donald Trump on a covert transfer from Air Force One to a smaller aircraft after the NATO summit, according to reporting.
President Donald Trump selected executive assistant Natalie Harp to join him, along with Walt Nauta and Dan Scavino, in a catering truck that moved the presidential party from Air Force One to a smaller plane for a flight from Ankara to RAF Mildenhall after the NATO summit.
New York Times reporter Maggie Haberman said Harp serves as a "comfort blanket" for Trump, describing her as a "living security blanket" for the 80-year-old leader. Haberman added that Trump chose Nauta and Scavino because of their long tenure in sensitive roles, noting Nauta’s former duties as a military valet and Scavino’s history dating back to his teenage years as a golf caddy.
Harp, 34, has previously been referred to as Trump’s “human printer” for providing printed news and social-media content, and more recently has been responsible for posting on Trump’s Truth Social account, a task shown in footage from the documentary The Art of the Surge. The video shows her typing posts dictated by Trump while the former vice president’s 2024 convention speech played in the background.
The Independent reported that Harp, a former right-wing television personality, has posted content on Truth Social that included a racist video depicting former President Barack Obama and his wife as apes. Her brother, who is estranged from her, has publicly described her relationship with Trump as "unhealthy" and labeled her part of a "fan club."
