South Carolina Rep. Russell Fry endorses Sen. Darline Graham for Senate runoff
Rep. Russell Fry, who finished third in the recent GOP Senate primary, has thrown his support behind Sen. Darline Graham ahead of the August 25 runoff against Rep. Ralph Norman.
Rep. Russell Fry, R-South Carolina, who placed third in the Aug. 11 Republican primary for the U.S. Senate, announced his endorsement of Sen. Darline Graham, R-South Carolina, for the upcoming runoff. Fry said on X that President Trump needs “fighters and allies in the Senate who will show up every day and get results,” adding that he believes Graham fits that description. He urged supporters of his campaign to back Graham, noting that “campaigns are temporary; the cause is bigger than any one candidate.” The runoff on Aug. 25 will pit Graham against Rep. Ralph Norman, R-South Carolina, who finished second in the primary. Graham was appointed by Gov. Henry McMaster to fill the remainder of her late brother Sen. Lindsey Graham’s term and continues to receive President Trump’s backing.
