Veteran pass rusher Von Miller signs with Dallas Cowboys

Resumen

Former Broncos star Von Miller has reached a contract agreement with the Dallas Cowboys, returning to his home state to fill a linebacker need.

Veteran defensive end Von Miller has agreed to terms with the Dallas Cowboys, the outlet reported, and posted an Instagram photo wearing a No. 40 Cowboys jersey. Miller, who grew up in DeSoto, Texas, about 24 miles from AT&T Stadium, previously starred at Texas A&M and has spent recent weeks training near the Cowboys’ Frisco facility. Over 14 NFL seasons with the Broncos, Rams, Bills and Commanders, he has recorded 138.5 sacks, including nine last season while playing 37 percent of defensive snaps, his highest total since 2021. Miller earned Super Bowl MVP honors with the Broncos and a second ring with the Rams. The Cowboys, who have not reached an NFC Championship game since their 1995 Super Bowl win, are looking to address an outside-linebacker role in Christian Parker’s 3-4 defense.
