Gronkowski Says He Followed No-Gift Policy at Swift-Kelce Wedding

Résumé

Former NFL star Rob Gronkowski told NBC Sports he did not bring a gift to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's July 3 wedding, adhering to the couple's request that guests refrain from giving presents.

Rob Gronkowski said he complied with the no-gift rule set by Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce for their July 3 ceremony at Madison Square Garden. In an interview with NBC Sports, the former NFL tight end explained that he did not bring a present because guests were instructed not to give any, adding that he felt it was important not to break the rule.

"Didn't get him anything. You weren't supposed to get them gifts, so it's a good thing I didn't," Gronkowski said.

He noted that he attended the event with his girlfriend Camille Kostek and former teammate Julian Edelman, and described the arrival of numerous black cars outside the venue. Gronkowski also praised the celebration, saying the dance floor was lively and commended the couple for their planning.

"Hats off to Taylor and Trav. And the dance floor, that's the one thing. It was poppin.'"

The former player said he intends to send a thank-you card to the couple for the invitation.
