Samsung leaks design details of upcoming One UI 9.5

Resumen

Screenshots of a test build show Samsung's One UI 9.5 will feature a glass-inspired aesthetic, a floating tab bar and repositioned search icon, with a possible launch on the Galaxy S27 series in early 2027.

Samsung has not yet released the stable One UI 9.0 update for its current devices, but a leaked build of the next version, One UI 9.5, has been shared online. Tipster Fahad Ali Javed posted screenshots taken after flashing an internal test firmware onto a Galaxy S26 series phone. The images reveal a glass-inspired visual style applied to elements such as the floating tab bar, with shinier borders and drop-shadow effects on top-header buttons and widgets, adding visual depth to the interface.

The leak also shows the search icon in the Phone app moved from the top-right corner to the floating tab bar at the bottom of the screen. Analysts suggest that Samsung may debut One UI 9.5 with the Galaxy S27 series in early 2027, followed by a rollout to eligible existing devices in the first half of the year.
