Gronkowski Says He Tried to Set Up Edelman at Kelce-Swift Wedding

Rob Gronkowski said he and model-actress Camille Kostek took former Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman to the July 3 wedding of Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and singer Taylor Swift at Madison Square Garden. Gronkowski told TODAY that they tried to help the single-status Edelman meet women among the celebrity-filled crowd.

"Julian Edelman was the third wheel, so we were kind of looking for some girls for him," Gronkowski said. "He was going, 'Who's that? Is she single?' I’m like, 'Go for it, Julian.'" He added that the effort was unsuccessful, but praised Edelman's appearance. Gronkowski also described the reception, noting a lively dance floor, DJs and magicians. The ceremony, attended by an estimated 1,100 guests, required attendees to sign non-disclosure agreements. Sources said the bride and groom, both dressed in white, wrote personal vows for a "secret garden"-themed event. Former Patriots quarterback Tom Brady was also present. Kelce later called the wedding "the best night of my life" during a press conference at the Chiefs' training camp.
