Kidman and Urban Finalize Divorce and Parenting Plan
Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban have completed their divorce paperwork, establishing joint custody of their two daughters with Kidman as primary residential parent and no alimony or child support obligations.
Nicole Kidman and country singer Keith Urban have formally dissolved their marriage, according to documents obtained by a news outlet. The marital dissolution agreement, notarized in August, cites irreconcilable differences and specifies that neither party will receive alimony or spousal support.
A parenting plan filed alongside the agreement designates the couple as joint custodians of their teenage daughters, Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret. The plan lists Kidman as the primary residential parent, with the children residing with her for approximately 306 days per year and spending about 59 days with Urban, who will have them every other weekend. Both parents are required to maintain a cooperative relationship and refrain from speaking negatively about each other or their families.
The filing also notes that both Kidman and Urban are applying for residency in Portugal, though Urban’s tour schedule in the United States has delayed his in-person visa appointment. The couple intends to keep a permanent residence in Nashville.
Kidman’s eldest daughter, Sunday Rose, previously described household rules that prioritize education and limit fashion pursuits until age 16, emphasizing the family’s focus on stability and consistent parenting.
"The mother and father will behave with each other and each child so as to provide a loving, stable, consistent and nurturing relationship with the child even though they are divorced," the parenting plan states.
No child support payments are required under the agreement.
