Massachusetts police locate missing 17-year-old after two deaths in Acton home
Police in Acton, Massachusetts, have found a 17-year-old who was missing after a woman and a teenage boy were discovered dead in the same residence, and say there is no public safety risk.
Police in Acton, Massachusetts, responded to a well-being check on Tuesday night and found a woman and a teenage boy deceased inside the home, according to the Middlesex District Attorney's Office. The district attorney, Marian Ryan, said the victims were related but did not provide further details, and the cause and manner of death remain under investigation. A third resident, 17-year-old Arjun Aravind, was initially unaccounted for and was believed to have taken the woman's car. Ryan announced on Wednesday that Aravind has been located and confirmed there is no risk to public safety. Authorities plan to hold a news conference at 1 p.m. ET for additional information. > "Our thoughts are with the family," Acton Police Chief Douglas Sturniolo said, describing the incident as a tragedy for those involved.
