Police have found a 17-year-old linked to the deaths of a woman and another teenager discovered in an Acton residence, and say there is no ongoing public safety threat.

Police in Acton, Massachusetts, have located a 17-year-old who was connected to the deaths of a woman and a teenage boy found inside a home on Martha Lane on Tuesday. The teenager, identified as Arjun Aravind, was sought after a well-being check was requested by a family member, according to Middlesex County District Attorney Marian Ryan. > "The teen was found, and there is no risk to public safety," Ryan said on Wednesday.

Earlier that day, officers searched a parking lot in Wayland, about 14 miles from the Acton home, and towed a sedan matching the description of a vehicle linked to the case. Hudson police later confirmed the car, a 2014 green Honda Accord with license plate 34PD94, was indeed found in Wayland. The vehicle is registered to the deceased woman.

Authorities have not released details about the cause or manner of the deaths. Acton Police Chief Douglas Sturniolo said the department will maintain an increased presence in the town as the investigation proceeds and offered condolences to the victims' families. A news conference is scheduled for 1 p.m. to provide further information.
