Eagles wrap up Day 10 of 2026 training camp ahead of preseason debut

Summary

Philadelphia held a lengthy practice on Tuesday, with several players listed as out or limited, and highlighted a 50-yard touchdown pass from Jalen Hurts to Elijah Moore.

Philadelphia held a 1 hour 43 minute practice on Tuesday, ending at 11:43 a.m., after which offensive and defensive units ran additional drills. The team will conduct a walkthrough on Wednesday and another practice on Thursday before opening the preseason against Baltimore on Saturday night.

Edge rusher Jonathan Greenard remains on the Active/PUP list, and defensive coordinator Vic Fangio said he will be out for at least another two weeks.

"Greenard will be out at least another couple weeks," Fangio said. All-Pro cornerback Quinyon Mitchell left a 1-on-1 drill with Hollywood Brown after a knee tweak and did not rejoin team drills. Wide receiver DeVonta Smith worked with trainers before practice. The injury report listed several players as not practicing, including WR Danny Gray (concussion) and WR DeVonta Smith (hamstring), with a few listed as limited.

With Mitchell and Jonathan Jones unavailable, second-year cornerback Mac McWilliams earned first-team reps at cornerback. Fred Johnson received first-team snaps at tackle in place of Lane Johnson. The first-team offensive line consisted of Jordan Mailata, Landon Dickerson, Cam Jurgens, Tyler Steen and Lane Johnson; the second team featured Markel Bell, Willie Lampkin, Drew Kendall, Jake Majors and Fred Johnson.

The practice’s highlight was a 50-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Jalen Hurts to Elijah Moore, who ran a double move into the deep post and caught the ball in stride. Moore’s performance has been noted as strong throughout camp.

In the 1-on-1 drills, Mitchell displayed a strong defensive play against Brown earlier in the session, while other notable moments included Dontayvion Wicks beating Riq Woolen and Darius Cooper securing a catch against Kelee Ringo.

During a 4-minute drill, the first-team offense secured a first down with two consecutive runs by Saquon Barkley, while the second-team offense achieved a first down after three runs by Tank Bigsby and a penalty on A.J. Epenesa. The third-team offense failed to convert, hindered by a false start.

Hurts also connected on an out-route to Wicks with precise timing, and Byron Young recorded a sack in a team drill despite being low on the depth chart. Tight end Dallas Goedert made a contested catch, and safety Cooper DeJean displayed quick reflexes on a misdirected pass.

Kicker Jake Elliott was perfect in the full-team setting, going 6-for-6, bringing his camp total to 25-of-26. Other notes included a cleanup sack by Ty Robinson and a scramble by Hurts that demonstrated increased speed, as observed by Fangio.
