Apple is slated to unveil its iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max and a first-generation folding iPhone at a September keynote, which analysts expect to take place on Wednesday, Sept. 9. The date aligns with the company’s historical pattern of announcing the event two weeks in advance, suggesting an announcement on Aug. 26.
Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman noted that the timing follows Labor Day, which fell on Monday, Sept. 7, making a mid-week event more practical for attendees. He also indicated that the keynote will likely be held in the Steve Jobs Theater with a live audience of about 1,000, though the presentation format is expected to remain largely pre-recorded.
Pre-orders for the new iPhone models are projected to open on Friday, Sept. 11, with the same global launch time used in previous years (5 a.m. Pacific, 8 a.m. Eastern, 1 p.m. U.K.). Early supply constraints may limit availability of certain configurations.
First reviews from selected press are anticipated to appear between Sept. 15 and Sept. 17, depending on the exact timing of the event and review embargoes.
