Karol G releases first all-English track on new album, duets with Bruno Mars

Resumen

Colombian singer Karol G's new album features her first full English-language song, a ballad titled “Still” performed with Bruno Mars.

Karol G's latest album, No Me Arrepiento De Sentir Tanto, includes a collaboration with Bruno Mars on the ballad “Still,” marking the Colombian artist's first complete English-language track on one of her own releases. The song pairs Mars' soulful vocals with Karol G's restrained performance, focusing on themes of love and separation.

The duet is the most prominent English-language offering on the album, which shifts from Karol G's earlier reggaeton and pop styles toward more reflective material that addresses heartbreak, grief and personal healing. Earlier English-language work includes her feature on Tiësto's 2021 single “Don’t Be Shy,” where she also sang entirely in English, but “Still” is the first such track appearing on her own record.

“The collaboration represents a significant milestone in my career, allowing me to explore new musical territory while staying true to my storytelling,” Karol G said in a statement.

Bruno Mars, known for his versatility across pop genres, contributes a smooth delivery that complements the song’s emotional focus, according to the album’s promotional description.
