Apple expected to unveil multiple new devices at September event
Apple is slated to announce at least five products, including upgraded iPhone Pro models, a foldable iPhone, and refreshed Apple Watch versions, at its September keynote.
Apple is set to introduce a range of new hardware at its annual September keynote, with analysts expecting at least five devices. The lineup is likely to feature the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, which are rumored to retain the design of the previous generation but add a smaller Dynamic Island, a variable-aperture wide camera, the A20 Pro processor and an LTPO+ OLED display. A new dark-cherry color option has also been mentioned.
The larger iPhone 18 Pro Max is expected to carry the same specifications while offering a bigger battery and a slightly thicker chassis. Pricing could be $100-$200 higher than the current Pro models, although Apple has not confirmed any price changes.
Apple may also debut its first foldable iPhone, tentatively called the "iPhone Ultra," with a 5.5-inch display when closed and a 7.8-inch display when opened. The device is said to use a 2nm A20 chip, dual batteries and a two-lens rear camera system, and to replace Face ID with Touch ID. Analysts estimate a launch price between $2,000 and $2,500.
The company is expected to refresh its smartwatch line as well. The Apple Watch Series 12 could receive a faster S-series chip, a larger battery and minor health-feature enhancements, while the Apple Watch Ultra 4 may be thinner and gain upgraded sensing capabilities, according to a report from DigiTimes.
Additional product updates that could appear later in the year include a new home hub with a 7-inch display and full Siri AI integration, a refreshed Apple TV 4K, and updated HomePod mini and full-size HomePod speakers. Apple is not expected to launch a standard iPhone 18, iPhone 18e or iPhone Air 2 at the September event; those models are projected for a spring 2027 release. The keynote is anticipated for either September 8 or 9, with pre-orders and shipments to follow in the subsequent weeks.
