Federal Prison Delays Diddy’s Release to February 2028 After In-Facility Fight

The Federal Bureau of Prisons announced that Sean "Diddy" Combs' release from federal custody will now be scheduled for February 20, 2028. The adjustment follows an altercation that led to the music executive being placed in solitary confinement.

Combs' release date has been revised multiple times in recent months, originally set for a summer release, then moved to April, February, and January before the latest postponement. The bureau did not provide a specific explanation for the frequent changes or the recent delay.

"The inmate was placed in segregation pending an investigation into the incident," a prison spokesperson said.

The latest schedule places Combs' release roughly five years later than his most recent projected date.
