Ravens extend WR Zay Flowers with four-year, $140 million deal

Summary

Baltimore signed wide receiver Zay Flowers to a four-year contract worth $140 million, including $108 million guaranteed, making him the league's fourth-highest paid receiver by average annual salary.

Baltimore announced that wide receiver Zay Flowers has agreed to a four-year contract extension valued at $140 million, with $108 million guaranteed, according to ESPN reporter Adam Schefter. The agreement replaces the team's 2027 fifth-year rookie option and sets Flowers’ average annual salary at $35 million, tying him with Minnesota's Justin Jefferson for the fourth-highest paid wideout in the league.

Ravens head coach Jesse Minter praised the signing, saying, "Great day for the Ravens. Shout out to Zay Flowers. When your best players are the right type of people and they bring the right mentality and everything marries together, those are the type of guys, it's such a great thing when stuff like that happens for them. Nothing better as a coach than to see those guys get what they deserve. So, really happy for Zay and excited for him. I can't wait to see him thrive in our offense."

A two-time Pro Bowler since being drafted 22nd overall in 2023, Flowers has led the team in receptions and receiving yards each season, posting career highs of 86 catches and 1,211 yards in 2025. He has recorded 16 touchdowns, including two rushing scores, and outperformed the team's next-best receiver, tight end Mark Andrews, by 38 catches last season.

The extension follows general manager Eric DeCosta’s earlier expressed interest in retaining Flowers. With the deal finalized, the Ravens aim to build on the veteran’s production as they target a playoff berth in the upcoming season, the first under head coach Jesse Minter.
