Russian soldier detained after killing fellow serviceman and three civilians in Crimea

A soldier was taken into custody after opening fire on fellow servicemen and civilians in the Crimean village of Khmelnitskoye, Sevastopol governor Mikhail Razvozhayev said on Tuesday. The incident left four people dead, including one soldier and three civilians aged 71, 64 and 59, and injured four others, among them another soldier. Razvozhayev added that medical staff were working to treat the wounded. > "The attacker has been detained," he wrote in a Telegram post. A local chat group screenshot, reported by the news outlet Agentstvo, identified the suspect as 21-year-old Maxim Alistratov from Saratov region, though the claim could not be independently verified.
