Newly released images show the design and ports of Lenovo's upcoming 15-inch Googlebook, a laptop built with Google’s Gemini AI and Android features.

Detailed photographs of the 15-inch Lenovo Googlebook have emerged, providing the first clear view of the device’s hardware. The laptop, part of a new line that blends Android with Google’s Gemini AI, will carry the Lenovo badge on the lid while the Googlebook logo appears beneath the left side of the keyboard.

The keyboard includes a Google "G" key in the position traditionally occupied by a start button, and a caps-lock key that displays a launcher-style icon, possibly replacing the search function found on Chromebooks. Android navigation keys are positioned next to the escape key, alongside screenshot and brightness controls, with additional keys that may serve accessibility or voice-to-text functions.

On the chassis, the left side houses an HDMI port, a USB-C port and a 3.5 mm audio jack. The right side features another USB-C port, a USB-A port and a power key that lights up. The specifications of the USB-C ports, including charging capabilities, have not been confirmed. The underside shows a solid build with visible screws and a fluted panel that includes two small fan intakes, suggesting a potentially repairable design.

"The Googlebook will offer contextual suggestions and device integration at every turn," a spokesperson for the project said.

The images follow earlier limited leaks and add visual detail to earlier reports on the software experience, which is expected to run Android with Gemini-driven AI features rather than ChromeOS.
