Google Announces Pre-order Date for Pixel 11 Pro Fold
Google released a short teaser for the Pixel 11 Pro Fold and set a pre-order start time of August 12, ahead of its Made by Google 2026 event.
Google has unveiled a 15-second video preview for the upcoming Pixel 11 Pro Fold, continuing the "Ask more of your phone" theme used in earlier promotions. The clip highlights a pill-shaped camera module on the device’s Camera Bar and features the company’s "G" logo illuminated on the back.
The Google Store website now displays a countdown indicating that pre-orders will begin on August 12 at 7 a.m. PT (10 a.m. ET, 2 p.m. GMT). A similar countdown appears on Best Buy’s landing page for the Pixel 11 series. The pre-order window is expected to open before the Made by Google 2026 event and livestream scheduled for 3 p.m. PT (6 p.m. ET, 10 p.m. GMT), mirroring a timing gap observed in the previous year.
"To switch phones, you have to be open to what’s new. And to what opens," the teaser’s narration states.
