Three killed, seven injured in shooting at Twin Falls In-N-Out Burger

Resumen

A gunman opened fire at a newly opened In-N-Out Burger in Twin Falls, Idaho, killing three people and wounding seven before dying from a self-inflicted wound.

A shooting at a newly opened In-N-Out Burger in Twin Falls, Idaho, left three people dead and seven injured on Saturday afternoon. Police said the suspect, identified as 24-year-old Chad Williams, died at the scene from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Twin Falls Police Chief Matthew Hicks told a news conference that the incident began around 2:29 p.m. after multiple 911 calls reported screaming and gunfire. He described the scene as one of the most chaotic he has encountered in his career.

According to Hicks, an off-duty state law enforcement officer and a local resident returned fire at Williams, which he said helped drive the shooter away and limited further casualties. The FBI is assisting the investigation, and authorities have closed nearby roads, including the Perrine Memorial Bridge, and ordered residents to shelter in place.

Two of the injured remain in critical condition, while the others are stable or have been released. Hicks said investigators believe Williams acted alone and that his motive is still under review.
