Saints place wide receiver Ja'Lynn Polk on reserve/retired list
The New Orleans Saints moved Ja'Lynn Polk to the reserve/retired list, ending his NFL career before his third season.
The New Orleans Saints announced on Sunday that wide receiver Ja'Lynn Polk has been placed on the reserve/retired list, effectively ending his playing career. Polk, a second-round pick in the 2024 draft, spent his rookie year with the New England Patriots, appearing in 15 games and recording 12 receptions for 87 yards and two touchdowns. In September, the Patriots traded Polk and a seventh-round draft pick to the Saints in exchange for a sixth-round selection. Polk missed the entire 2024 season with the Saints due to a shoulder injury and will not be eligible to play for the NFC South franchise moving forward.
