Resurfaced video of singer D4vd wearing fake-blood shirt draws online attention amid murder trial preparations

A TikTok clip of singer D4vd, whose legal name is David Anthony Burke, has resurfaced online. In the video he wears a shirt stained with fake blood, a design he previously sold as merchandise, while purchasing laundry detergent. The clip gained renewed visibility after details from Burke's recent preliminary hearing were reported.

During the hearing, prosecutors mentioned an inflatable pool found in Burke's garage that smelled of laundry detergent and contained a dryer sheet, prompting discussion of the video’s context. Burke’s defense team responded that the fake blood present in his home is linked to his merchandise and artistic projects, which explains the shirt shown in the clip.

Prosecutors allege that Burke ordered an Uber for Celeste Rivas to his Hollywood Hills residence in April of the previous year, subsequently stabbed her, and later dismembered her body. Rivas' remains were later discovered in two bags inside his Tesla. A judge determined there is sufficient evidence for the case to proceed to trial. Burke faces charges of murder, continuous sexual abuse of a child under 14, and unlawful mutilation of human remains.
