Co-stars from the HBO series honored Vincent Pastore, 80, after his death was confirmed following the discovery of his body in his Bronx home.

Co-stars from the HBO drama "The Sopranos" posted tributes after the death of Vincent Pastore, 80, who was best known for playing Salvatore “Big Pussy” Bonpensiero. The actor’s body was found in his Bronx apartment after a neighbor reported the discovery on Saturday, and authorities are still determining the cause of death.

"A wonderful actor, a kind and loving man. It was an honor to know you and work with you," wrote Jamie-Lynn Sigler, who portrayed Meadow Soprano.

"Our beloved friend and collaborator VINCENT PASTORE has passed away. This is a hard one for us, it seems like I’ve known Vinny forever. We did lots of work together and traveled all over the USA as well as Italy and Australia. Lots of good times. Lots of laughs. Vinny was a kind-hearted brother who cared deeply about his family and friends. I will miss him always," posted Michael Imperioli, who played Christopher Moltisanti.

"Such a funny & charming man… just a beautiful soul. Absolutely heartbreaking," posted Lorraine Bracco, who played Dr. Jennifer Melfi.

"God bless him. He made it to 80. Vin and I were never actually on set together, but through our Sopranos family I got to know him over the years. I always liked him. He had this incredible appetite for the business and he never lost that spark. That always made me smile. My heart goes out to his family, his friends and everyone who loved him. Rest easy, Vin," wrote Joe Pantoliano, who portrayed Ralph Cifaretto.

"Another irreplaceable brother gone. It never gets any easier. Travel well Vincenzo," posted Stevie Van Zandt, who played Silvio Dante.

Pastore’s manager had not heard from him for three days, and his driver last spoke with him on Friday night, according to a family friend.
