Eagles begin 2026 training camp at Jefferson Health complex
The Philadelphia Eagles reported to the newly renamed Jefferson Health Training Complex for their 2026 camp, with a schedule that includes one public practice and several preseason games.
The Philadelphia Eagles arrived at the Jefferson Health Training Complex for their 2026 training camp, marking the 14th camp held in South Philadelphia since the team moved from Lehigh University in 2012. The camp schedule runs from July 28, when players report, through the preseason, with a public practice slated for August 25 at Lincoln Financial Field.
Tickets for the public practice are priced at $15 for general admission and $50 for a VIP option that includes field access before the session; proceeds will benefit the Eagles Autism Foundation. The team will host three preseason games—against the Ravens on August 15, the Patriots on August 22, and the Bengals on August 28—before trimming the roster to 53 players by August 30.
Offensive coordinator Sean Mannion, a former NFL backup quarterback turned coach, will implement a Shanahan-style scheme, a shift from the previous staff led by Kevin Patullo. The Eagles also completed a trade that sent wide receiver A.J. Brown to the New England Patriots, promoting DeVonta Smith to the primary receiver role and adding depth with players such as Makai Lemon and Hollywood Brown.
Defensively, the team exercised the fifth-year option on defensive tackle Jalen Carter, though a long-term extension has not yet been agreed upon. Despite losing Jaelan Phillips, Nakobe Dean and Reed Blankenship in free agency, head coach Vic Fangio’s unit remains talent-rich, featuring players like Jonathan Greenard, Jordan Davis and Cooper DeJean.
Several position battles are expected during camp. Safety competition centers on Marcus Epps versus other contenders after Blankenship’s departure. At receiver, Lemon, Dontayvion Wicks and Hollywood Brown will vie for spots behind Smith. Backup offensive line depth will be contested among Fred Johnson, Markel Bell and Drew Kendall, while edge-rusher roles will see Nolan Smith, Jalyx Hunt and veterans A.J. Epenesa and Arnold Ebiketie competing for playing time.
The Eagles will provide daily practice reports, a podcast series and televised coverage through the Birds Huddle program throughout the summer.
