Savannah Guthrie urges kidnapper of her 84-year-old mother to reveal location
More than 25 weeks after her mother vanished, Savannah Guthrie posted an Instagram plea asking the unknown abductors to disclose the whereabouts of Nancy Guthrie, while offering a federal reward for information.
Savannah Guthrie used her Instagram account on Monday to address the unidentified person who allegedly kidnapped her 84-year-old mother, Nancy Guthrie, who disappeared from her Tucson home on Feb. 1. In the post, she said her family remains in “agony” and urged the kidnapper to "do the right thing now" and disclose the victim’s location.
The family is asking anyone with information to contact the FBI at 1-800-CALL-FBI, noting a reward of more than $1 million, and also cites a separate reward through Tucson’s Crime Stoppers line for tips leading to an arrest.
The Pima County Sheriff’s Department confirmed the abduction occurred in the early hours of Feb. 1 in the Catalina Foothills neighborhood.
