NBCUniversal and Google will bundle Peacock Premium with YouTube Premium for U.S. subscribers starting in early 2027, expanding distribution of NBCUniversal’s streaming services.

Under a multiyear agreement, NBCUniversal’s Peacock Premium will be included in a new YouTube Premium bundle for U.S. customers beginning in early 2027. The addition will not change the current $15.99-per-month price of YouTube Premium, and the price of the combined offering has not yet been disclosed. Peacock Premium, which currently costs $10.99 a month and includes ads, will also be offered as a separate add-on through YouTube Primetime Channels later this summer, while Peacock Premium Plus is already available via the same channel.

The partnership represents NBCUniversal’s largest wholesale distribution deal to date, giving Peacock access to “millions of YouTube Premium subscribers in the U.S.,” according to the company. The agreement also expands the reach of NBCUniversal’s Universal+ and Hayu services in select markets, extends the existing YouTube TV carriage of NBCUniversal’s entertainment, sports and news channels, and designates NBC Sports as a production partner for select live events on YouTube.

“This partnership brings NBCUniversal’s world-class content and iconic franchises to YouTube’s unmatched scale and global platforms,” said Mike Cavanagh, co-CEO of Comcast and incoming CEO of the stand-alone NBCUniversal.

“We’re incredibly excited to expand our partnership with NBCUniversal to redefine what a modern entertainment subscription can be for consumers,” added YouTube CEO Neal Mohan.

“With this agreement, Peacock accelerates its next phase of growth by bringing the service to millions of YouTube Premium subscribers,” said Matt Strauss, chairman of NBCUniversal Media Group.

“By bringing Peacock to YouTube Premium, we’re giving our members an incredible lineup of content while also connecting them to the creator ecosystem,” noted Mary Ellen Coe, YouTube’s chief business officer.

The deal also deepens the companies’ advertising-technology collaboration through FreeWheel and extends distribution of YouTube, YouTube TV and YouTube Premium on Comcast’s Xfinity and Xumo platforms. Separately, Comcast plans to spin off NBCUniversal, including its UK Sky unit, with the transaction expected to close in mid-2027.
