Michigan player wins $1 million Powerball prize
A ticket purchased in Rogers City matched five numbers in Saturday's Powerball draw, earning a $1 million prize, while the jackpot rolled over to an estimated $633 million.
A Powerball ticket bought at Basel Oil in Rogers City, Michigan, matched five of the six numbers drawn Saturday night, securing a $1 million prize for the holder, the Michigan Lottery said. The winning numbers for the $600 million jackpot were 47, 3, 36, 4, 24, with Powerball 17. The ticket did not match the Powerball, so the jackpot will increase. The next drawing is scheduled for Monday at 10:59 p.m., with the jackpot expected to rise to about $633 million.
