Mega Millions jackpot climbs to $800 million after 37 drawings without a winner

Resumen

The Mega Millions jackpot reached $800 million following a drawing in which no ticket matched all numbers, marking the 37th consecutive draw without a jackpot winner.

The Mega Millions jackpot increased to an estimated $800 million after Friday's drawing produced no jackpot winner, extending a streak of 37 consecutive drawings without a top prize. The winning numbers were 2, 5, 42, 44 and 60, with the gold Mega Ball 1, resulting in a $743 million prize for matching all five white balls and the Mega Ball.

Thirteen tickets matched four white balls and the Mega Ball, earning prizes between $20,000 and $40,000, depending on the multiplier selected. California reported the highest number of third-tier winners with five tickets, while Florida, Ohio, Georgia, South Carolina, Idaho and Missouri each had at least one winner.

The last jackpot was claimed on March 17 by The Happy Trails Trust in Ohio, which took a $60 million prize. In 2026, only two jackpots have been won to date, matching the total for the same period in 2024.

The next Mega Millions drawing is scheduled for Tuesday, offering players another chance at the $800 million prize. The Powerball jackpot, also at a historic level of about $600 million, will be drawn on Saturday.
