Tyreek Hill says he still lacks power in recovering left leg
The former Miami Dolphins wide receiver posted a workout video indicating he still has no power in his left leg ten months after two surgeries, and he did not specify a timeline for returning to the NFL.
Wide receiver Tyreek Hill posted a YouTube video on Wednesday showing him performing a range of exercises while discussing his recovery from a dislocated knee and multiple ligament tears suffered in Week 4 of last season. He said the injuries required two surgeries and that, ten months later, he still has "no power" in his left leg and is working to regain strength "one day at a time."
Hill, 32, recalled being told he might not be able to walk again, but said he now feels good and is even attempting short runs, which he noted he was not supposed to do but enjoys challenging himself. The former eight-time Pro Bowler was released by the Miami Dolphins in February, becoming a free agent for the first time in a decade.
"I ain't going to tell you what my timeline is, but timeline looking real good right now, man," Hill added, indicating optimism about his future without providing a specific return date.
