Tyreek Hill shares rehab video as he works to restore strength in injured left leg

Summary

Free-agent wide receiver Tyreek Hill posted a video showing his rehabilitation exercises ten months after undergoing two surgeries for a severe knee injury.

Tyreek Hill, now a free agent, posted a 1-minute 38-second video on social media showing him running, jumping on turf, a basketball court and in a pool at his Florida residence. He said the footage is part of his effort to regain power in his left leg, which was injured in a September 29 game against the Jets and required two surgeries.

“It’s about 10 months after doing two surgeries. My left leg is the one that I injured. I have no power in my left leg, so I’m trying to regain all the power back in my left leg. But it’s one day at a time.”

He added that he does not have a set timeline for full recovery but feels progress is “looking real good.” Hill recalled doctors warning that he might not walk again after the injury, which involved a dislocated knee and multiple ligament tears, including the ACL.

“You know, they told me I might not be able to walk again, and the doctor is like, ‘Bro, we don’t know what’s going to happen with your future,’ and now look at me. I feel good.”

The Dolphins released Hill on February 16, leaving him available to sign with any team.
