A forensic criminalist testified that red stains in the garage of singer D4vd tested positive for possible blood, adding to evidence in the preliminary hearing for the alleged murder of Celeste Rivas.

During the second day of the preliminary hearing for the murder charge against singer D4vd, a forensic scientist from the Los Angeles Police Department testified that red stains discovered in the defendant's garage tested positive for possible blood. The expert, Lauren Wallace, said her team performed BLUESTAR tests, a method used to detect blood, on areas near a Tesla charger and a rowing machine inside the Hollywood Hills rental property. The garage floor, covered with black interlocking rubber mats, showed several linear cuts that the tests indicated might contain blood.

Wallace also reported that a trash bag and a green tarp with red stains, as well as disinfectant wipes, yielded positive BLUESTAR results, while two chainsaws recovered from the scene tested negative. When asked about a specific Makita 10-inch chainsaw allegedly ordered by the defendant, Wallace said none had been found.

The testimony was part of the ongoing legal proceedings following the discovery of Celeste Rivas' dismembered body in the trunk of the defendant's Tesla in September 2025.
