The Powerball prize rose to an estimated $567 million after no ticket matched all six numbers in the July 20 drawing, with the next drawing set for July 22.

The Powerball jackpot increased to an estimated $567 million, with a cash option of $251.8 million, for the drawing scheduled on Wednesday, July 22, after no ticket matched all six numbers in Monday's draw. The prize has been rising since early May, making it one of the largest of the year.

Two players — one in Colorado and one in Michigan — each collected $1 million prizes in the recent drawing, while the last jackpot win occurred on May 2, when tickets in Florida and Texas split a $20 million prize.

The winning numbers for the July 22 drawing were 4, 5, 22, 50, 58 and Powerball 1, with a 3-times Power Play multiplier.

Anyone who meets the legal age requirement can purchase a $2 Powerball ticket in any of the 45 participating states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico or the U.S. Virgin Islands, regardless of citizenship or residency. Players select five numbers from 1 to 69 and a Powerball from 1 to 26, with an optional $1 Power Play add-on that can increase non-jackpot winnings.

Drawings are held on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday evenings, and the jackpot continues to grow when there is no winner.
