Hawks acquire Lu Dort and Ryan Nembhard in three-team trade involving Mavericks and Thunder
Atlanta received guard Lu Dort and rookie Ryan Nembhard from Oklahoma City, while Dallas got forward Zaccharie Risacher and Oklahoma City obtained three future second-round picks.
Atlanta added guard Lu Dort and rookie point guard Ryan Nembhard to its roster in a three-team transaction that also involved the Dallas Mavericks and the Oklahoma City Thunder. The Hawks received Dort, a 27-year-old former undrafted player who posted 8.3 points, 3.6 rebounds and 0.9 steals per game last season, and Nembhard, a 5-foot-11 guard who averaged 6.6 points and 5.3 assists as a rookie with Dallas.
Dallas acquired forward Zaccharie Risacher, a 6-foot-8 French player who averaged 9.6 points and 3.8 rebounds on 45.5% shooting in his second season, joining fellow 2025 first-overall pick Cooper Flagg on the roster.
Oklahoma City received three future second-round draft selections, increasing its total to seven after earlier trades for picks involving Aaron Wiggins and Isaiah Joe. The Thunder had exercised Dort’s $17.7 million team option before moving him in the deal.
"The Thunder chose to trade Dort for additional draft assets rather than let him enter free agency," a league source said.
The trade details were reported by ESPN’s Sham Charania and are being followed for further confirmation.
