Samsung's upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 8 series revealed in pre-event leak

Summary

A leak posted by tipster Evan Blass shows promotional images of Samsung's three next-generation foldable phones, detailing design, camera specs and battery capacity ahead of the Galaxy Unpacked event.

Promotional images of Samsung's three eighth-generation Galaxy Z foldables were posted online five days before the company's Galaxy Unpacked event. The pictures, shared by leaker Evan Blass, display the Fold 8 Ultra, Fold 8 and Flip 8 and confirm several rumored specifications.

The Fold 8 Ultra is shown in a violet-shadow finish with a taller body and a narrow cover-screen. The leak appears to verify a 50 MP ultrawide camera and a larger 5,000 mAh battery that Samsung claims can deliver up to 27 hours of video playback. Additional visuals suggest the device will support contextual suggestions, 8K video recording and glass protection on the cover screen.

The Fold 8 is depicted in a lavender finish, highlighting a wider, shorter design. Renderings indicate a dual 50 MP rear camera array (primary and ultrawide) and 10 MP sensors for both the main and cover displays. The phone is associated with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy chipset and is said to offer up to 26 hours of video playback, consistent with earlier reports of a 4,800 mAh battery.

The Flip 8’s marketing material shows a pink clamshell device that largely mirrors the previous model. The camera setup includes a 50 MP main sensor, a 12 MP ultrawide lens and a 10 MP selfie camera, while the 4,300 mAh battery and edge-to-edge cover screen appear unchanged.
