Chloe Fineman Leaves SNL After Seven Seasons for Netflix Drama
SNL cast member Chloe Fineman announced her departure after seven seasons, citing a new role in a Netflix drama as the reason for her exit.
Chloe Fineman, 37, said she will leave Saturday Night Live after a seven-season tenure, with the decision coming shortly after she was offered a part in an upcoming Netflix drama. An insider told Page Six that the offer arrived only hours before Fineman announced her departure and described the move as "smart" because she felt she could not refuse.
Fineman has been expanding her film work, appearing in projects such as Summer of 69, Freakier Friday, Francis Ford Coppola’s 2024 film Megalopolis, and the comedies Love Language and The Dink. Her exit follows a series of recent veteran departures from the show, including Ego Nwodim in September, Bowen Yang in December, and the earlier dismissal of eight-season cast member Heidi Gardner.
In an Instagram post, Fineman expressed mixed emotions about leaving, noting both the challenges and the dedication required by the program. The Daily Beast has sought comment from her representatives but has not received a response.
