Kim Kardashian posted screenshots of text exchanges with her late grandmother, Mary Jo "MJ" Shannon, showing biblical verses shared in a family group chat before Shannon's death at 91.
Kim Kardashian posted screenshots from a family group chat on her Instagram Stories on July 17, a day after her grandmother Mary Jo "MJ" Shannon, 91, passed away. The messages, exchanged in an "Entire OG family" chat, featured Kris Jenner sharing Bible verses. Jenner posted Psalm 90:17, "Lord our God, may your blessings be with us. Give us success in all we do," to which Shannon responded, "Amen." The following day Jenner shared Psalm 91:1, "Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find protection in the shadow of the Almighty." The posts highlighted the family's practice of sharing daily scripture during Shannon's final days.
