Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 8 and Z Fold 8 specs revealed in leaked press renders

Leaked press renders released ahead of Samsung's scheduled announcement show that the Galaxy Z Flip 8 will retain the clamshell design of its predecessor, while the Galaxy Z Fold 8 adopts a shorter, wider form factor with a dual-rear-camera layout.

According to leaker Evan Blass, the Flip 8 is equipped with a 50 MP main sensor, a 12 MP ultrawide lens and a 10 MP front camera, and will be powered by a 4,300 mAh battery. The Fold 8 is reported to carry a 50 MP primary sensor, a 50 MP ultrawide sensor and two 10 MP front cameras, supported by a 4,800 mAh battery and Samsung’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy processor. The Flip 8 is expected to use the Exynos 2600 chip in most markets, with Snapdragon variants for China and the United States.

Both devices will run One UI 9.0 and are anticipated to include GPS, 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, USB-C, side-mounted fingerprint readers, stereo speakers and an IP48 dust- and water-resistance rating. The Fold 8 is expected to support 45 W wired fast charging and 20 W wireless charging, while reports suggest the Flip 8 may also offer 45 W wired charging.
