Kim Kardashian says vacation post was scheduled before grandmother's death

Kim Kardashian said an Instagram carousel of vacation photos posted shortly after news of her grandmother Mary Jo "MJ" Campbell's death had been scheduled in advance. She wrote in the comments that the post was planned "a few days ago before we lost MJ" and that her focus was on supporting her mother and family during the mourning period.

Campbell, who was 91, had been announced dead by Kris Jenner earlier that day. Kardashian later posted a separate tribute, describing her grandmother as a lifelong mentor and the family matriarch.

Fans reacted with criticism and defense, with some accusing Kardashian of insensitivity and others noting that scheduled posts can result in unfortunate timing.
