Trump Media to Offer Paid Real-Time Feed of Key Posts to Financial Firms
Trump Media & Technology Group will launch a subscription service on Aug. 1 that delivers instant updates of selected Truth Social posts to Wall Street traders, aiming to generate new revenue.
Trump Media & Technology Group, the owner of the Truth Social platform, announced a paid service that will provide Wall Street firms with real-time access to posts from selected accounts beginning on Aug. 1. The service is designed for traders who need market-moving information within seconds, a delay that can affect trading outcomes.
Interim chief executive Kevin McGurn said the offering will create a steady profit, noting that “markets already move on Truth Social posts.” The company said some firms have been copying its data without permission and that the new feed will replace those practices.
The move could benefit President Donald Trump, who remains the majority shareholder, as his posts often influence market sentiment. The White House declined to comment on whether his posts will be part of the paid feed. Investment expert Mark Spiegel said it would be “unprecedented” if the service included the former president’s statements and warned that firms without access could be at a disadvantage.
