Google Teases Pixel 11 and New Glow Notification Feature Ahead of August 12 Event

Google has placed a "Google Pixel 11" teaser on the main page of its online store, indicating that pre-orders will begin on August 12 alongside the Made by Google event. The teaser includes a short video that appears to showcase a new "Pixel Glow" feature, which uses the camera flash to emit different colors as a notification indicator when the phone is face down. A prior leak described Pixel Glow as a subtle light that informs users of important activity without requiring interaction. The store page also offers a calendar reminder for the event, scheduled for 6 p.m. ET / 3 p.m. PT, which is expected to cover updates on Gemini Intelligence and the upcoming Pixel lineup, including the Pixel Watch 5.

"Tune in to Made by Google on August 12 at 6pm ET / 3pm PT to learn the latest news and updates, from Gemini Intelligence to the new lineup of Google Pixel devices," the event invitation reads.

Analysts anticipate that the Pixel 11 series will feature a mix of stable and higher pricing, and the company is preparing for pre-order activity.
