Kim Scott, Eminem's ex-wife, hospitalized after suicide attempt
Kim Scott was taken to a Michigan hospital on Saturday following a reported suicide attempt, according to 911 dispatch audio obtained by media outlets.
A 911 call recorded from Kim Scott's residence in Chesterfield indicated that first responders were directed to the address for a "suicide attempt." The dispatcher relayed that a caller said a relative had cut her wrist with a knife. Police and emergency crews arrived at the home and transported Scott to a local hospital on a gurney. Scott, who was previously married to rapper Eminem, has faced legal issues, including a May arrest for suspected driving while intoxicated after a collision with a parked vehicle.
"We need to route responders to an address in Chesterfield for a suicide attempt," the dispatcher said during the call.
The incident follows earlier reports of Scott's legal troubles and her two marriages to the artist, both of which ended in divorce.
