Jannik Sinner rallied from a set down to beat Alexander Zverev 6-7(7), 7-6(2), 6-3, 6-4, securing his second straight Wimbledon championship and fifth Grand Slam overall.

Jannik Sinner overcame a first-set deficit to defeat Alexander Zverev 6-7(7), 7-6(2), 6-3, 6-4 in the 2026 Wimbledon men’s final at the All England Club. The world No. 1 claimed his second consecutive Wimbledon crown and his fifth major title, while Zverev’s loss ended his bid for a Channel Slam, though his runner-up finish moved him to world No. 2, surpassing Carlos Alcaraz.

The match featured tight serving exchanges, with Zverev converting a crucial break point in the third set after slipping and appearing to injure his knee. The injury limited his movement and service power, allowing Sinner to break and pull ahead. Sinner steadied his play in the fourth set, breaking Zverev again and serving out the match.

"Sascha, I would like to start with you and your whole team and your family. You reached one of your main goals in winning Grand Slams... If you play like this, I'm very, very sure you're going to have this one at home as well. Amazing, keep going. I know the goal for you is to become No. 1 in the world — you're very, very close," Sinner said in the post-match interview.

"First of all, Jannik, I don't really like you any more. I've lost to you nine times in a row," Zverev replied, adding that the tournament had been an "amazing two months" and that, at 29, he felt he could finally win the trophy.

The victory underscores Sinner’s consistency on grass and his ability to recover after early setbacks, while Zverev’s performance highlighted both his powerful serve and the impact of the late-match injury.
