Actress Taylor Frankie Paul filed a civil stalking injunction in Salt Lake County, Utah, on Friday against Cru Eaton, a friend of her former partner Dakota Mortensen. The petition seeks a court order to stop Eaton from further stalking or harassing Paul and is supported by video and photographic evidence.
Eaton posted a TikTok video showing Paul sobbing during an intense argument that Mortensen recorded. In the post, Eaton defended Mortensen, claiming the fights were not initiated by him and questioning why observers focus on the moments before the recordings began.
The legal action follows a recent court appearance by Paul and Mortensen concerning custody of their two-year-old son, Ever. Earlier this year, Paul temporarily lost custody after abuse allegations and the release of video footage from a 2023 domestic-violence incident. In June, a judge lifted supervised-visit requirements and granted Paul visitation rights of one day per week and alternating weekends.
